So you've got yourself a new work of art, but where and how to hang it? The choice is yours on where to hang it and a quick google search will give you lots of ideas on how to create a striking wall feature. And the how to hang it is quite simple as well!
Here are some easy to use instructions on how to hang our large variety of push pin travel maps: framed paper and canvas, large single panel gallery wrapped maps with optional float frames, and our large 3 panel gallery wrapped canvas maps. All styles of our ready to hang maps include the appropriate hanging hardware installed on the back of the map and the appropriate hangers are included. They are truly ready-to-hang, right out of the box!
Framed Paper and Framed Canvas Wall Maps:
Our framed paper and canvas maps are made with the traditional framing wire installed on the back of the map, and we include the nail and bracket along with the pins.
Step 1. Find the perfect spot for your map and draw a dot at the height and center of where you would like the map to go.
Step 2. Pull the wire from the center towards the top of the frame and measure the distance of the now taut wire to the top of the frame.
Step 3. Take the measurement from step 2 and measure that much below the dot on the wall and draw a new dot. Nail the bracket into the wall over the new dot. Erase the first dot if it's visible.
Step 4. Hang your new map and start pinning away!

Gallery Wrapped Canvas Wall Maps:
Our gallery wrapped single panel maps with the optional float frame have 2 sawtooth brackets installed on the back of each map. We include 2 double-headed bear claw hangers along with the pins.
Step 1. Measure the distance between the sawtooth brackets on the back of the map. It should be ~ 18".
Step 2. Find the perfect spot for your map on the wall and draw 2 dots that are level to each other and are the same distance apart as the sawtooth brackets you measured in step 1.
Step 3. Drill/screw the double-headed screws (Phillips head) into the wall in the corresponding dots.
Step 4. Hang your map and pin your travels!

3 Panel Gallery Wrapped Canvas Wall Maps:
People think our large 3 panel gallery wrapped canvas maps are hard to hang, but that's not the case!
A single sawtooth bracket is installed on the back of each panel and 3 double-headed bear claw screws are included along with the pins.
Step 1. Find the center spot where you would like the map to hang and start by drawing a dot in the middle for the center panel.
Step 2. We recommend leaving 1" space between each panel for a pleasing aesthetic, so measure ~ 19" to the left and right from the dot you drew for the center panel and draw a dot on each side. The 3 dots should be level to each other and should align at the middle of each panel.
Step 3. Drill/screw the double headed screws (Phillips head) into the corresponding dots.
Step 4. Hang each panel and pin your adventures!
