How Its Made!
Every Push Pin Travel Map is handcrafted in The United States of America (Denver, CO to be exact!). We take great pride in every map we produce. We start by professionally dry mounting your map to sturdy foamcore board. Our framing experts then place the map in the stylish frame of your choice, which we build in house. Next a wire hanging kit is installed, so your map arrives ready to hang right out of the box. We even include a nail and hanger so you can easily hang your map on the wall. Find out more details as well as answers to popular questions in ourFAQ section here.
Difference Between Paper and Canvas...
Our Paper Maps can be personalized with a metal plaque that is affixed to the map. Our Framed Canvas Maps, Gallery Wrapped Maps, Large 3 Panel Maps and Canvas Posters will have your personalization printed directly on the map itself, using one of our 9 unique personalization templates.
Additionally, our paper maps have a smooth finish and our canvas maps have a textured look and feel. Both paper and canvas maps are mounted to foamcore board, which is what holds the pins in place. Both versions are high quality and will last you a very long time. Basically, it comes down to a matter of personal preference!

Purchased the item as a gift and it was a hit! We had so much fun telling stories as we put our pins up. The writing is a bit small and hard to read at times and in some cases it’s difficult to push the pins for fear of damaging the canvas.
My large 3 panel push pin map has been the most incredible addition to my home office, which I proudly display on the backdrop of my meetings. Shipping, installation, and placing the pins into the map wasn’t only simple and easy, but my partner and I have also really enjoyed adding new pins as we continue to travel to new places. We absolutely love how smooth and easy the customization aspect was too.
Mike and Brenda go way over the top to make sure you’re getting exactly what you want. Their willingness to work with you and check in to make sure you’re happy is unparalleled. I’ll certainly be a return customer, particularly for gifts for my friends and family who are also passionate about travel. Thanks!
I’ve bought these for others and finally decided on one for myself. I like the extra zoom since Antarctica was removed (no intention of going there). I ordered special color pins - Gold, Silver, Pearl - and it’s gorgeous! #FeelingSophisticated
The most difficult part of ordering online is not knowing what will show up at the door. Push pin travel maps has mastered the process of showing you exactly what you will get and delivering what was shown. Their level of professionalism, follow-up and follow-through is unmatched.
I had a great experience with Push Pin Travel Maps! I ordered my map, very customized, on a Monday and it was delivered on a Friday. Great website, easy to order, fast delivery and beautiful maps! My wife was super happy with her birthday gift! My only suggestion would be the ability to go back edit a map after its added to the cart, but before you check out for indecisive people like me. I kept changing my mind and had to totally recreate the map three times.
Beautiful! Excellent quality map and frame- easy to order and navigate through website, fantastic customer service with follow-up email after ordering and prompt reply. Highly recommended! Thank you- my husband loves his anniversary gift😊
Our son purchased one as an anniversary gift, we were jealous immediately and ordered one. I purchased extra pins (houses) to note all of the places we've lived. I did silver in older places and gold in our current location. It arrived nicely packages, early and just want we were looking for. We've now planned our next cruise because of this purchase....
It’s absolutely beautiful and I’m happy with my decision with ordering from this company. They replied right away when I had some questions and made the experience stress free. I will absolutely recommend to my family and friends. ALSO let me mention how great your packing is, my box came completely demolished, torn, re-taped. My heart dropped a little when I saw the box thinking my map had been ruined. Thankfully it was in perfect condition! Thanks again!
Our world travel map was a perfect 2nd anniversary gift. My husband loves it! (We did feel it was a little heavy and bulky to be hung on one hook, so we put two nails into wall studs and put two corresponding saw hook hangers on the back. It seems to be secure on the wall now.) Thank you very much!

Happy Anniversary and we are glad to hear your husband loved the map. Thanks for the input on the hanger. You are right, these gallery wraps could use an additional saw tooth on the back for added stability. We will make that change going forward. Thanks again and happy travels.
The map came incredibly quickly. Ordered on a Monday and at my house by Friday the same week. It fits our decor perfectly and is a really fun addition to our home. We love to travel so it's a great way to show all the places we have been.
Had been looking at a lot of different maps, and decided on this one. Glad we did, all the cities we wanted were on the map and they did a great job of working with me to get the custom legend and wording that we wanted
Gallery Wrapped - Stormy Dreams World Travel Map with pins
We ordered the 3 piece stormy dreams world canvas travel map and we couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Excellent quality maps and they even emailed us a mock up before production to make sure everything was the way we wanted. Fantastic product and service.
Canvas - Stormy Dreams World Travel Map with pins
Very pleased with our push pen map! Looks very nice in our office 😊
I purchased this for my husband as his anniversary gift. We've had such a fun time sitting down and reminiscing over all of our amazing travels as we marked each individual destination. Would 100% recommend! The quality is great!
Very pleased with the quality of the map, frame as well as excellent customer service.
Shipped quickly, was extremely well packaged. Bit disappointed in the text print quality on the land parts, it's hard to read in spots. The writing is almost the same color as the map itself. Once the pins are in, the colors help break things up a bit so it doesn't look so jumbled. I would order again, but in a different color.
Beautifully framed and quality map! Got this for my husband to hang in the office for Valentine’s Day. Only thing I wish it had more cities and islands labeled. There were quite a few we’ve been to that are popular that weren’t labeled but continued with 5 star because I know it’s hard to fit everything on the map. We got the brushed black frame with gray map. Love it!!
We absolutely love our push pin map! Its an amazing qualifty, and if possible, even more beautiful than in the pictures. The customer service is outstanding.
I was looking for maps like these to buy as a wedding anniversary present. I saw them on amazon, but decided to call the company instead. Very glad I did.
First, the map arrived on time and we love it. The actual topography of the map looks great. I will say, the barnwood gray is a little darker in person than on the screen, but it still looks great.
The customer service was amazing as well. They placed the order for me, had the printing expedited to make sure it arrived in time for our anniversary, and advised/allowed me to change the default pin color. I ended up ordering more pins because I didn't realize I could before.
I got this grey toned travel map for my daughter’s 16th birthday. She LOVED it! Everything was neatly boxed and we received it within a few days!
High quality and shipped fast! The map is so detailed and looks very classy!
I ordered a map after a friend recommended it! I was blown away by how awesome it turned out! Also the shopping was great. I ordered it on a Wednesday and it was here by the following Tuesday! We already have it hung and have all of our pins up! 10/10 recommend this product and company!
